Workshop Description:

We will start with a brief description of the History of Land/Environmental Art. We will learn a bit of vocabulary and introduce the concepts of composition and design. After introducing a few methods and techniques participants will break off into small groups and create their own land-based artworks. This workshop is mainly participatory and collaborative so participants should be prepared to work with others and get dirty.
We will end by gathering to view participants work, discuss what we’ve learned and how to use what we’ve learned with children.
