*We are sorry to announce that Ken Beattie is unable to attend the 2016 Manitoba Nature Summit. This workshop will be presented by Corine Anderson instead. If you’d like to switch your workshop please contact tamara@plannersplus.ca and she’ll do her best to assist you.

“Keep your love of nature, for that is the true way to understand art more and more”.

– Vincent van Gogh

Nature provides us with an enormous palette of colour, shapes, textures and sounds. The many learning opportunities in Mother Nature stimulate all of our senses. We will use this inspiration to make site-specific, temporary art works like Andy Goldsworthy, Christo or Richard Shilling. We’ll discuss how to make similar artworks with children and how to encourage creativity in the outdoors.

Time of the workshop: Friday Morning and Friday Afternoon

Group that this workshop is best suited for: All Ages
