Meet The Organizing Committee: Carmelle Kozak

Meet our new Workshop Committee head!

Carmelle is so very excited to join the Manitoba Nature Summit team!

Teaching kids about and helping them connect to the natural world is a longtime passion of hers. As an environmental educator she has worked for a variety of organizations, such as Oak Hammock Marsh, Spruce Woods Provincial Park, and the Environmental Speakers Bureau (Green Action Centre).

Currently she teaches grades 1 & 2 in Seven Oaks School Division and has recently completed a Masters of Education degree focused in Sustainability.

Amongst many outdoor activities her favourites include canoeing, skiing, gardening, birding, or just simply laying under trees!
