What to do in Winnipeg Autumn 2015

Attention plant-dorks, nature nerds, play peeps, educators extraordinaire!

Here’s a list of events you should be attending, in cronological order:

October 15th– Attend the Time to Play Film night with Kim Hunter (director/film maker/Waldorf educator) & Joy Winchell M. Ed. (a retired Winnipeg Teacher who is interviewed on the film) at Discovery Children’s Centre. 7:00 – 9:00 PM tours at 6:00. A Free Will Collection will be taken ($5.00 suggested donation).

RSVP rblatz@discoverycc.com your intentions on attending (it helps us plan for how many chairs to set up).

October 15th- Reflections on Why We Do What We Do – With Play Advocate and Super-star ECE Christine McLean as the Wine and Cheese kick-off event of MCCA’s Imagining a Pedagogy of Reflection conference. 6:30-9:30 at the Victoria Inn – $10.00 click here to register:   https://mccahouse.eventsair.com/imagining-a-pedagogy-of-reflection/register/Site/Register

October 17th- Halloween Tree Climbing Event at St.Norbert Arts Centre 11:00-2:00. $20/child $30/adult. contact lori@travelroot.org to reserve a spot!

October 19th- GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

November 3rd- Book Launch- for Laura Reeves Guide to Useful Plants 7:30pm at McNally Robinson.

November 14th- Trivia Night with the Manitoba Nature Summit- Come join us at the St.James Legion for a super fun evening of Trivia. Bring your own snacks. Costumes welcome.
