1.) Are children invited to the Nature Summit?   While the Nature Summit is for the benefit of children it is an adult only event.

2.) When will registration begin? Early bird registration will begin May 15th and run until June 15th.

4.) What type of accommodations are available?  Camp Manitou is normally a children’s summer camp. There are a number of rooms in the main lodge that have bunks in them. There are also spaces to pitch a tent or park an RV. Toilets/showers are available inside the main lodge.  The cost of accommodations are included in the price of your registration. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.

5.) How much will it cost? To attend the full conference registration will be $250. The early bird price is $200. There is only an early bird price for the whole conference. If you can only make it for one day you will need to save $125- this pays for one day from the keynote to the end of the last workshop that day. The day price includes two nutrition breaks and lunch. If you wish to stay for the evening activities and dinner you have the option of buying a dinner ticket for an additional $20.

6.) Is there a group rate? While you will be able to register as a group for convenience and arrange for staying together as a group- if you so choose, there will NOT be a group discount.

7.) How will I get there? Camp Manitou is easy to find on google maps. It is just barely out of the Winnipeg city limits- which means that you can bike there from most parts of the city. We also encourage people to car-pool. At the 2010 Summit participants used the Manitoba NatureSummit facebook page as a ride board and everyone was able to arrange a ride-share. In fact a few new friendships were forged through ride-shares. I also think that worst-case scenario you could take a Winnipeg transit bus as far down Portage ave as you can go and then take a cab. Or someone could come pick you up…
